My Bio
Hello, I am staella, or Lauren/Laurie/that one girl, etc, call me what ever you want. ^_^ I color old black and white pictures in my free time. The rest of the time I'm generally busy with school work. :P I'm the oldest of four kids: three girls and one boy. Because my parents are crazy there is a three year age gap between me and my first sister then, an eleven year age gap between me and my second sister, and thirteen years between me and my brother. So sometimes I feel more like a third parent/babysitter, than an older sister to the younger two.
I have a rat, two guinea pigs, a cockatiel, four parakeets, and three kittens. <3 I love my pets. They are all horribly spoiled.

Favourite Visual Artist
Too many to choose from
Favourite Movies
I'm not hard to please, it would be easier to make a list of movies I hated
Favourite TV Shows
TV= background noise for me. I do like Fringe, but otherwise I'll usually just have wrestling, the news, or some documentary playing so it doesn't get too quiet.
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
I'm into alternative music ;)
Favourite Books
Harry Potter, Narnia, Speak, LOTR, The Outsiders, oh and I still read fairytales even though I'm almost 20...
Favourite Games
The Sims 2 & 3
Favourite Gaming Platform
don't game enough to care.
Tools of the Trade
Crappy Old Tablet + GIMP oh the joys of being a broke college student

I havne't posted much on this account in awhile and it's been a long time since I really contributed to the site. Real life has got the better of me right now and it's been a long run. I'm saying goodbye exactly not to the friends I've made on this account. But I am saying good bye to this account. I've decided to open a brand new account, a sort clean start, fresh slate to help move on with my problems. From now you can find me at ~Helaena-Targaryen (https://www.deviantart.com/helaena-targaryen) If you would like to continue following my art then you should follow that account It is where I will post my new works from this point on as sort of a fresh start. I hope that I have not

Back again...

Back from another long and unproductive break. Today is the first day I actually feel better enough to write this. You may or may not know that I've been struggling with mental illness. It's been the name old nightmare that's been stalking me since my teens. First it's just me 'acting out for a attention. When that doesn't work its pediatrician time. Pediatrician shows more concern and gives me lexapro. Our two year adventure is made up what , Mother though, was a marked improvement. I didn't try to push back and tell them that it felt no different. The Lexapro phase lasted about a year and a half. At the time there was no generic version so

Summer Reading

0 min read
It's been a crummy summer so far here in VA as far as weather goes. We really didn't get spring, one week it was freezing cold and snowing the next it was boiling hot and stormy. The last two weeks it's been muggy, humid and rainy. The sucky weather has kept me indoors and to keep myself occupied I raided the library and heres what I got: -The Sisters Who Would Be Queen by Leanda de Lisle -Victoria's Daughters by Jerrold M. Packard -The Princes in the Tower by Alison Weir I also got lucky at a library book sale, where I got "Mary, Queen of Scots" by Antonia Fraser, and "Nicholas and Alexander" by Robert K. Massie for $1 a piece which is gre
